Limit's proudly presents Mark Haynes,
Mark was born and raised in
Bowling Green, Kentucky and that is where he still calls home. Mark
started playing guitar and singing when he was 13 and later played
local clubs and venues beginning at the age of 17. Mark has had the
honor of playing with many talented musicians over the years in such
popular bands as Rhymshot and Young Billy Walker. He was a regular
on the long running live radio show, Live at Libby's. Libby's was a
popular country music artist showcase that helped launch the careers
of many artist including Tracy Lawrence and Joe Dee Messina. In 1995
Mark entered the True Value Jimmy Dean Country Showdown, a national
country music talent contest that has over 50,000 contestants each
year. That year he won the local, state, and regional levels before
finishing fourth in the national finals at Disneyworld. After taking
a break from the music business to pursue other interests and start
a family, he is now back to pursuing his passion for country music
and looking forward to seeing where this journey may lead. Mark will
be performing at Scott's City Limits May 15th by popular demand so
