Scott's City
Limit's was opened in Feb of 2004. Born and raised in Green County,
Scott moved to Edmonton in 1997. He owns and maintains the
Cumberland Parkway Motorcross that opened in 1999. In 2004, He
brought the KY Headhunters home for the first time along with
opening artist, Sherri Austin to perform in Metcalf County. The show
was a huge success. Richard Young of the Headhunters was quoted as
saying, "Scott is the only one who had the guts to bring us home for
a performance." Scott has plans in the near future to bring other
artists to the motorcross track. Scott and the city limit's band
perform annually at the Metcalf County Blueberry Festival in June.
His father, the late Robert E. Gentry (Bobby) led the church
singing. His father and mother, Betty J. Gentry were also members of
a gospel quartet. Scott was introduced to music at an early age and
assembled his own band in 2007 and began to perform. Since then he
has hand picked his musicians and currently is backed by an all star
pro band. He is also currently reviewing material that's to be
recorded in Nashville on his new upcoming cd that's to be released
sometime in early spring. |
